Founded in 2000 by Dr. Janet Gersten, NAMR became a true family legacy in 2017 when Dr. Gersten was joined by her three identical triplet daughters: Drs. Joanna, Sarah, and Victoria Bedell.

Backed by four dedicated principal investigators, a diverse and highly experienced clinical team, and established partnerships with local subspecialists, NAMR has the expertise and infrastructure to execute a wide range of clinical trials. Our expansive, state-of-the-art facility integrates our own thriving medical practice, allowing us to seamlessly connect patients with cutting-edge research. At NAMR, we prioritize the efficient enrollment of high-quality participants, consistently delivering best-in-class retention rates. To further expand our therapeutic capabilities, our team includes Sub-Investigators specializing in Internal Medicine, Gastroenterology & Obesity Medicine, and Family Medicine & Sports Medicine.

Dedicated Management

NAMR is uniquely managed by its owners and operators, Drs. Janet Gersten, Joanna Bedell, Sarah Bedell, and Victoria Bedell, who are present on-site every day. Together with Site Director Maria Rodriguez, they personally manage all study operations from initiation to closeout. Supported by an exceptional staff of clinical research coordinators, research assistants, data entry personnel, and recruitment specialists, the leadership team ensures the precise execution of protocols and the delivery of superior data quality.

NAMR is unique in that the majority of the active patients in our database are long-time personal patients of Dr. Gersten and the three Drs. Bedell. These subjects are consistently reliable, dedicated, and compliant, which is directly reflected in our high retention rates and fast enrollment timelines. To maintain data integrity and prevent duplicate subjects, we actively participate in the Verified Clinical Trials (VCT) database. Furthermore, our strategic recruitment efforts ensure highly qualified participants, resulting in low screen failure rates.
